There are different levels of approval with regard to what strains are available for play. Part of this is due to what strains are more commonly found within the Sanctuary region as well as difficulty of RP or costuming for a particular strain. Rarer or more complicated strains have AP (assistance point) costs as well as approval to ensure that characters created match what is appropriate and genre for Sanctuary as a whole.
If you want assistance on making sure your concept fits within our setting please feel free to contact our Storytelling Director below!

Due to the nature of psionic powers, characters wishing to start game with Profession: Psion must be approved by the Storytelling Director first. Please note that this is not to discourage you from playing a Psion, but rather to make sure that all parties involved are aware of the risks of playing a Psion.
Something to keep in mind if you'd like to play a Psion:
Sanctuary is in a Fallow Hope heavy area and works closely with the Knox. Between the zealotry of the Templarus Immortum and the undead horrors from the deep attracted to psionic activity. Psions can expect to be targeted by plot and possibly have a short time in the wasteland. You have been warned!
